What can be more beautiful? They say that you can find happiness on this Earth on the back of a horse. And horse riding enthusiasts know that this isn’t far from truth. There is hardly anything more beautiful than riding along an empty beach or through a wide green landscape as found in Tuscany.

Here you find various providers who plan either your whole holiday or rent horses on a per-hour basis. You will find magnificent Hanoverians or the local Maremmano breed. You can book horse riding tours in Tuscany with a guide, even without booking, as well as join the program in groups, with the family or enjoy a private riding experience in the Tuscan countryside. There is simply a wide variety of choices and Tuscany is just waiting for you.

Italy is located in Tuscany

After his Italian journey Goethe said: "Tuscany is not in Italy, Italy is in Tuscany". And the man knew what he was talking about. The region captivates with its overwhelming beauty and you can easily forget the rest of Italy. Be it the Chianti region with the grapes growing in the endless vineyards that promise great wine experience, be it the overwhelming artistic cities of Florence or Siena with the typical flair of Tuscany or the unobtrusive beauty of Arezzo where one finds the oldest antique market in Italy. This one incidentally takes place only once per month and you can even visit it on a horseback although the horse must then wait on the edge of the market.

In Tuscany you will be a little slower because the beauty of the countryside, the serenity of its inhabitants, the smell of the olive trees and the view on the vineyards do not allow a quick step. Here you tend to stop, here you want to linger - perhaps even no longer return home.
