First time in Milan?

If you are visiting Milan for the first time, you better engage with a local enthusiast.

We will visit the main monuments and sights of Milan: the Sforzesco Castle, an astonishing fortress, which served as the seat of the power of the dukes of Milan. Their magnificent court had its place here during the Renaissance Age.

You can admire Piazza dei Mercanti, the ancient square that was at the center of the business and finance of the town during the Middle Age.

We will visit the inside of the cathedral, Duomo, which itself is the symbol of Milan. It has many curiosities among them an incredible number of sculptures which decorate it. Let me tell you the story of how the Duomo history is tightly linked to the history of Milan itself.

We will also enter the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the well known arcade which is considered to be the most ancient shopping mall in the world.

And in the end we will complete our tour in Piazza Scala where we will admire the sober Neoclassical façade of Teatro alla Scala, the undisputed temple of music.
