Mountain Hike: Ždiar - Zelené pleso

The starting point is village Ždiar which belongs to the treasures of Slovakia. Ždiar is also  typical Tatra mountain village. It has specific folk architecture and typical Goral monostructure. Through Kopské saddle (1749 m) which separates Belianske Tatras and High Tatras, we can get to alpine cottage Zelené Pleso (1551 m). Cottage at the Zelené Pleso is for many people the most popular Tatra cottage. It is situated in a beautiful environment surrounded by fabulous peaks, turquoise glacial lake and views of the rocky peaks Belianske Tatras.
